Facilities and Pricing
We love to welcome all guests in person, and we always provide a welcome pack of eggs from our own chickens - which are so delicious a visiting chef wanted us to supply him personally! - flowers, milk, and bread.
We invite guests to give us their preferences about bread and milk (not in bottles!) before they get here, and there are basic quantities of tea, coffee, sugar etc. for that always welcome cuppa when you arrive.
We make no extra charge for dogs and welcome a maximum of 2 well behaved pooches to Little Springs, strictly by prior arrangement.
Because of the proximity of other farm animals, we ask that dogs are kept on a lead at all times outside the cottage environs and, as a courtesy to future guests, that they don't share the bedroom.
We supply kitchen and bathroom towels at no extra charge, as well as luxurious 300 thread cotton bed linen, and a couple of towels to wipe any muddy paws!
We do however appreciate dog owners bringing a protective 'throw' to protect the lounge sofa if their dog is used to 'sofa snuggles'.
Our large 'Clearview' log burner is a firm favourite with our guests and we supply 2 generous baskets of logs free of charge which, depending on how toastie you want to be, will normally last about 3 to 4 nights. Additional logs can either be purchased from us at £5 per net, or obtained locally.
Central heating oil, cooking gas and electricity are all included in our prices, but please note this does not include the charging of EV's, which unfortunately we are currently unable to support.
The Cottage is equipped with a SMART TV so subscribers to Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. can enjoy their programmes away from home. The TV also doubles as a DVD player and there are 20 or so titles on the bookshelf - please don't expect the latest 'Blockbuster', nostalgia is probably more the order of the day!
There is also a dedicated WiFi hotspot just outside the cottage, connected to the farm broadband. Rural broadband is somewhat slow compared to big cities and we do ask that guests adopt a fair usage policy and don't lauch multiple streaming applications at once.
Our Private Parking space is situated adjacent to the cottage, where your vehicle is in full view from the cottage lounge window and under 24hour CCTV surveillance. However, parking is strictly at owners risk and we accept no responsibility for vehicles parked on our premises.
It is worth saying though that in the 9 years we've been at Little Springs we haven't had a single anti social occurrence - apart from the odd renegade Ram!
Unlike many rental properties we do not make a charge for cleaning. We are passionate about making sure our little cottage is absolutely spotless for our guests and to ensure everything is perfect, we do not employ contract cleaners and carry out all the work ourselves.
That said, we do ask that guests treat the cottage with respect, particularly if dogs are present, and in the event of accidental damage, we do levy a £50 refundable damage deposit.

Minimum Stay 3 Nights
The cottage is available for booking between 1st March 2026 and November 30th 2026. Bookings after these dates need to be referred to the owners at Cottage@littlesprings.farm
We do not charge a booking fee but we do charge a £50 refundable damage deposit.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CHANCELLOR HAS ALLOWED LOCAL AUTHORITIES THE ABILITY TO LEVY A 'PER NIGHT' TOURIST TAX WHICH, WHILST COLLECTED LOCALLY, WILL GO DIRECTLY TO CENTRAL GOVERNMENT. SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL HAVE YET TO DECIDE WHETHER TO ADOPT THIS POLICY BUT SHOULD THEY DO SO, REGRETABLY WE WILL HAVE NO ALTERNATIVE BUT TO ADD THIS TO YOUR BILL.
